Sam Bailey new ambassador for Cure Leukaemia

Cure Leukaemia are one of the leading centres in the world for the development of new drugs and treatments for blood cancer. On Friday 7th October Sam Bailey was a special guest at a fundraising event at Villa Park which sought to raise awareness and much needed funds for the charity.

The event was called ‘Glynn Purnell & Friends’ Friday Night Kitchen’ and was a live culinary event presented by the Michelin star chef himself, Glynn Purnell. The event comprised food, fun and laughter and saw a number of special guests join the chef including Jimi Mistry, Will Torrent, and Suzanne Virdee. DJ Ed James from Heart FM was a host who worked alongside Adam Joyce.

Sam took to the stage to perform to the 400 people in the audience and helped increase the donations for the worthy charity. Throughout the evening Sam recognised the phenomenal work the charity do for people battling blood cancer and chose to become an ambassador for the cause.

Sam takes part in regular charity events and this is yet more proof of her remaining grounded despite her fame! She has already confirmed that she will be returning to the event on 6th October 2017 where she will be performing live.
