Sam Bailey went down a storm with revellers on the famous Rock of Gibraltar when she headlined official May Day Celebrations in the historic Grand Casemates Square, the larger of the city’s two main public squares, on Friday 1st May.
Having visited the British Overseas Territory on a number of occasions while performing on cruise ships in the past, Sam was flattered by the offer she received from the Government of Gibraltar and jumped at the chance to get involved with festivities.
The all-day event began at 11am and families enjoyed live music and performances from Art In Movement, Urban Dance, Kristian Celecia, Another Day, Headwires, Super Wookie, Heritage, Jet Stream and the Santos Productions Choir, before Sam rocked the square and brought the curtain down on one of Gibraltar’s highest profile annual celebrations.
Introduced at a press conference at the Sunborn floating hotel on Thursday 30th April by Gibraltar’s Minister for Sport, Culture, Heritage & Youth, Steven Linares, Sam then did a sound check in the Square before touring the city and visiting Irish Town.
Sam is one of the most talented performers in the business and has an incredibly powerful stage presence. To find out more about adding her star quality to your next event, call Victoria Marconetto at Champions Celebrity management agency on 08453 31 30 31 or email email@example.com.
