Continuing her proud support for a variety of charities, Sam performed at the North West ChildLine Ball on March 7 which raised an incredible £220,000 for the charity. The show also featured performances from The Voice winner Jermain Jackman and Britain’s Got Talent finalists Bars and Melody.
Guests gathered at the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate for a glittering Havana Nights ball which welcomed a host of other celebrities, including King of the Jungle Carl Fogarty and Slade star Noddy Holder.
Organised by charity ambassador Michael Josephson and hosted by Key 103 DJ Darren Proctor, the ball raised valuable funds which will go towards the NSPCC’s ChildLine Schools Service in Greater Manchester.
Sam got everyone up and dancing with 80s classics including ‘We Built This City’ and ‘Rockin’ All Over The World’.
Sam said: “I’m a realist, you never know what’s around the corner, but The X Factor was great, I got my new house extension out of it and that’s all I wanted!
“I’m just a normal mum trying to live a normal life but in some ways I’m still in that X Factor bubble - I still can’t believe it when people are waiting to meet me, or the thousands who have bought my album.”
