Sam Bailey is about to get her teeth into a real rocker of a show when she takes the role of the Vampire Queen in the hit touring musical extravaganza Vampires Rock Ghost Train for the 2019 tour.
Sam will be stepping into the shoes of legendary singer and actress Toyah Willcox who played the part for two years performing over 200 shows.
Sam will be joined on stage by creator and star of Vampires Rock Steve Steinman, plus a full cast of dancers, singers and musicians. The Prisoner’s Education Trust will once again be honouring the tireless hard work of those who work within prisons around the country with the annual Prisoner Learning Alliance Awards – which will this year be presented by former Sam Bailey, who many will know as a former prison guard.
The awards night offers a chance for prison staff to receive well-deserved recognition for outstanding contributions towards promoting and providing education within prisons. Wiltshire’s no.1 gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender festival returns on Saturday 29 June and is set to celebrate its tenth year anniversary.
Launched in 2008, the Swindon & Wiltshire Pride festival promotes equality and diversity in the local community. Sam Bailey has been an advocate for gay rights everywhere for several years having performed at numerous Pride festivals both around the country and internationally.
Stepping onto the ‘Mayan Stage’ at the Swindon & Wiltshire Pride, Sam will perform a mix of songs from her Sing My Heart Out album as well as covers of other artists’ music on the Saturday.

One of the biggest events on the city’s calendar, Newcastle Pride, returns for its tenth-year anniversary from 21-23 July.
The event, which celebrates the north east’s LGBT community, has confirmed Sam Bailey as one of the headline acts.
Sam will take to the Newcastle Pride’s Manchester Airport’s Main Stage on Sunday 23 July. With the attendance of the Newcastle Pride expected to be in the tens of thousands, Sam will be performing some of her best-loved tracks from her Sing My Heart Out Album.

Every year, Sam Bailey’s management agency, Champions (UK) plc throw an annual dinner in aid of Loughborough-based charity, Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People – a hospice that cares for youngsters with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses.
On Friday 2 June the event returns to London’s Dorchester Hotel, located in Mayfair, where funds will be raised for the hospice through fundraising games and a silent auction. The dinner’s theme of ‘Best of British’ is to be carried out across the evening, from the three-course meal, to the British Olympian Derek Redmond who will host proceedings.

On the 9th February Sam was honoured to perform at ‘A Night with Steve Dorff and Friends’ in L.A.
The special night was dedicated to Steve Dorff’s son, who tragically passed away in December 2016. The night was a blazing success with many iconic artists taking to the stage, including Dylan Chambers. This Christmas Sam is set to perform at Leicester Cathedral’s concert on Wednesday 7 December in aid of Air Ambulance, a charity who serve six counties in the Midlands – so far the charity have responded to more than 47,000 missions saving many lives.
Sam and the guests will be welcomed to the cathedral with a mug of mulled wine and hot mince pies before she takes to the stage alongside 15-year-old rising star Katie Marshall. The evening will also include a stunning performance from the De Montfort University gospel choir. Based in the North West of England, Destination Florida is a children’s charity who organise holidays to the sunshine state of Florida for children (aged 7-15) who missed out on holidays due to childhood illnesses. The charity take around 74 children every two years for a holiday they will never forget.
Sam Bailey, who is an ambassador for Destination Florida, supported the organisation at their annual ball. The event took place in Leeds and was attended by the staff at the charity, the children and their families, carers and nurses – everyone involved in the phenomenal charity.
The ball raised valuable funds for the charity and Sam played a significant part in the fundraising, she also put smiles on all of the guests faces during her live performance.
Cure Leukaemia are one of the leading centres in the world for the development of new drugs and treatments for blood cancer. On Friday 7th October Sam Bailey was a special guest at a fundraising event at Villa Park which sought to raise awareness and much needed funds for the charity.
The event was called ‘Glynn Purnell & Friends’ Friday Night Kitchen’ and was a live culinary event presented by the Michelin star chef himself, Glynn Purnell. The event comprised food, fun and laughter and saw a number of special guests join the chef including Jimi Mistry, Will Torrent, and Suzanne Virdee. DJ Ed James from Heart FM was a host who worked alongside Adam Joyce.

On the 4th January Sam flew to Los Angeles to start work on her new album. Grammy and Emmy nominated music producer Steve Dorff fell in love with Sam’s voice and instantly wanted to work with her, which has led to their collaboration on the album. Steve has decades of experience under his belt and has worked with some of the biggest names in the music world including Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Dolly. Sam was also in the company of other music producers including Grammy winning country singer, John Guess and Michael Woodrum who has worked with the likes of Snoop Dog, Joss Stone and the Backstreet Boys. Sam is looking forward to sharing previews of the tracks with fans on her fanclub in the not too distant future.

It was back in 1997 when the show first opened at Adelphi Theatre winning many awards during its 15 years on the West End, and rightly so. The accolades include 6 Tony awards, 2 Oliviers, 1 Grammy, 2 BAFTAs and 6 Academy Awards. Its success in London spread to New York Broadway where it is still currently playing. Now Halloween and Bonfire night is over and done with, Christmas is next on the list for exciting winter events. The 2013 X Factor winner is set to bring Christmas to life in six different locations around the Country, by turning on their Christmas street lights throughout November. The 12th November saw Sam turn on the Plymouth lights, in front of thousands of attendees who were wrapped up in hats and scarves for the annual event.

November 14th was the final of the ongoing summer talent competition at Park Resorts Holiday Park. Sam was one of the guest celebrity judges picked to help choose the winner of the competition. Throughout summer the competition has shown lots of talent amongst the contestants, so Sam had a tough decision on her hands.
She was amongst many other familiar faces that were there to judge the talent and support the finalists, she was amongst celebrities such as: Coronation Street actor Andy Whyment; famous brothers Paul and Barry Elliot aka the chuckle brothers and Demetrios the father side of the Britain’s Got Talent act Stavros Flatley.

On Friday 13th November Sam teamed up with BBC Radio Leicester for Children in Need and performed at Jubilee Square in Leicester City Centre.
It was a memorable evening with a great turn out and support by Leicester locals. Sam was alongside other performers such as Sally Barker and Miss England 2015.
The event also had a giant Pudsey drawn out of the grass in the square, where candles were then placed, following the marked out lines, to create a giant glowing Pudsey. Sam, along with the other performers were the first to lay down a candle.
The Pudsey does Diwali event played a part in the overall staggering total amount of money raised for Children in Need and Sam was proud to be a part of it.
Sam has been chosen by Ladbrokes to write a weekly opinion blog for their website about the current series of the X Factor. Sam is obviously a huge fan of the show so was thrilled with the opportunity to publicise her opinions about the contestants each week.
She doesn’t hold anything back, Sam is honest and that’s what her fans love about her, and the Ladbrokes blog is no exception to this honesty.

Good Morning Britain teamed up with Tough Mudder to celebrate Tough Mum’s across the UK on 23rd September. The mums defeated a smaller 5k version of the normal 12k event was to unite a group of mums that have had to juggle personal, physical or emotional struggles with raising children.
Celebrity mothers were also invited to join in, amongst those was Sam Bailey. As a mother of three Sam jumped at the opportunity to get involved and was proud to be supporting the women. The course was by no means for the faint-hearted, it included obstacles such as rope swings over muddy water, steep slippery hills, a mud mile, a hero carry and many more.
Whilst she was there Sam met and heard some of the women’s inspirational stories that made her feel lucky to be healthy and have a healthy family.

September the 5th was the day that Leicester raised their rainbow flags in aid of the city’s Pride festival. The colourful festival happens annually and is always a great celebration that brings people together. The festival provides education on equality and the importance of accepting everyone no matter what their sexuality.
Sam was at Victoria Park showing her support for the LGBT community. She performed many of her hits on stage to an audience waving their rainbow flags with pride. Sam expressed whilst on stage how honoured she was to have been a part of their special day and how important the festivals are for dispelling discrimination.

Sam’s self-confessed biggest challenge this year was completing the Prudential RideLondon event as part of the Telegraph’s team. The event is in aid of encouraging people to cycle carefully, safely and more frequently and each year the event sees tens of thousands of spectators and participants getting involved and supporting.
Sam was a part of a five member team, alongside BBC broadcaster John Inverdale; former Olympic triple jumper and Team Telegraph’s captain Jonathan Edwards CBE; Welsh rugby union player Shane Edwards and Scottish radio and television presenter Jenni Falconer.

Sam has recently been a guest presenter on ITV’s hit daily lunchtime show Loose Women. The show is famous for its controversial topics and grilling of celebrity guests. She appeared on the panel with Nadia Sawalha, Ruth Langford and Jane Moore.
Sam was a great addition to the panel, she looked very much at home on the show. The four women made the show great fun discussing a variety of different topics. One topic that the episode focused on was a 9 year old boy’s diagnosis of ‘gender confusion’. During the discussion Sam opened up and discussed her empathy with the boy.

8th-17th May saw the annual Pride festival in Maspalomas in Gran Canaria. The 9 day event welcomes people from all over the world to unite against discrimination. 100,000 people turn out for the occasion which allows everyone to express their true selves.
Every year the closing party at the festival is the biggest and best, where everyone joins together for one last celebration of sexuality. This year, Sam flew to Gran Canaria especially for the festival, to show her support to the LGBT community. Throughout the festival she did several shows, including the closing party where she was the headline performer on stage to a 15,000 strong crowd.

We are delighted to announce that Sam will be headlining the main stage at Leicester Pride 2015 on Saturday 5th September in Victoria Park.

On Saturday 11th July, Sam Bailey will perform at Hamilton Park Racecourse for their Summer Racenight which is one of the entertainment highlights of the year.
Hamilton Park is a major part of Scotland’s sporting heritage and has been staging races since 1782. Well known for mixing top quality racing with music and entertainment, the course has welcomed live performances from the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Jason Donovan, Pixie Lott, Alesha Dixon and Dannii Minogue.

Sam will attend and perform at Hope for Holly’s Best of British Ball on Saturday June 13. The charity was founded by Holly’s parents when she was diagnosed with Niemann Pick Type C ('NP-C') an extremely rare and devastating genetic condition which causes neurological decline and childhood dementia.
The evening will feature a drinks reception, three course meal, entertainment and a charity auction, welcoming Just Dance Academy and over 300 guests to StadiumMK.

Sam will perform at Liverpool’s musical extravaganza, Music on the Waterfront, which will welcome a host of stars to the city’s Pier Head on Saturday June 6. Last year 30,000 fans attended the outdoor event and this year’s festival is set to be bigger than ever. Stretching from the area outside the Liverpool Echo Arena right up to the end of Princes Parade, thousands of visitors will attend this ever-growing festival.

Swansea City hosted their annual SwansAid charity football match at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday May 31 which Sam played in alongside a host of other celebs.
Last year’s winning captain Adam Woodyatt returned to attempt to take home the title for the second year running. Nearly 11,000 people attended to see his side defeat Danny Dyer’s team in a high goal-scoring encounter that ended 14-12. This year, Woodyatt’s opposing captain was another X Factor star, Jake Quickenden, whose team triumphed 15-12.
Other stars that attended included: The Only Way in Essex star, Dan Osborne; Eastenders actors, Jake Wood and Ben Hardy; Blue singer, Lee Ryan; singer-songwriter, Dane Bowers; and soap star, Terry Alderton. Also playing were Swans legends Lee Trundle and Andy Robinson.

Sam will support legendary singer Engelbert Humperdinck on a UK tour that marks 50 years since Engelbert made his first steps in what would become an incredible career. Continuing her proud support for a variety of charities, Sam performed at the North West ChildLine Ball on March 7 which raised an incredible £220,000 for the charity. The show also featured performances from The Voice winner Jermain Jackman and Britain’s Got Talent finalists Bars and Melody.
Guests gathered at the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate for a glittering Havana Nights ball which welcomed a host of other celebrities, including King of the Jungle Carl Fogarty and Slade star Noddy Holder.
Organised by charity ambassador Michael Josephson and hosted by Key 103 DJ Darren Proctor, the ball raised valuable funds which will go towards the NSPCC’s ChildLine Schools Service in Greater Manchester.

Raising money for the St Giles Trust, Noruma’s Got Talent was a fantastic event that followed the format of the hit TV show and was judged by Sam Bailey.
Held at The Loose Cannon on April 16, the show started with a performance from Britain’s Got Talent runners-up Twist & Pulse. All the acts then showcased their talents to Sam, who commented on each before selecting an overall winner.
Sam also treated the guests to an exclusive live performance featuring some of her favourite songs. It was later announced that Nomura had raised £500,000 for the charity which aims to break the cycle of prison, crime and disadvantage and create safer communities by supporting people to change their lives.
Sam said: “It was a fantastic event and I always love to get involved, supporting charity events whenever I can.”

Sam Bailey went down a storm with revellers on the famous Rock of Gibraltar when she headlined official May Day Celebrations in the historic Grand Casemates Square, the larger of the city’s two main public squares, on Friday 1st May.
Having visited the British Overseas Territory on a number of occasions while performing on cruise ships in the past, Sam was flattered by the offer she received from the Government of Gibraltar and jumped at the chance to get involved with festivities.
